Residents and businesses in part of Glenrothes have been urged to keep their windows and doors shut after a chemical incident forced the closure of a section of the A92.
Emergency services were called to the incident at around 11.35am on Tuesday, September 8.
The A92 is closed in both directions between Preston Roundabout and Tullis Russell Roundabout.
Traffic Scotland said the closure was due to debris on the carriageway, with trunk road incident support services (TRISS) at the scene.

In an update issued at 2.10pm, Traffic Scotland said the road remained closed and warned that traffic was slowing on approach.
People in the Alburne Park area have been specifically asked to keep all windows and doors closed as a precaution.
Members of the public are being urged to avoid the area while emergency services remain at the scene.
A statement said: “Emergency services are in attendance at a chemical incident in the Glenrothes area which was reported around 11.35am on Tuesday, September 8.
“The A92 is closed between the Preston Roundabout and the Tullis Russell Roundabout.
“Local residents and businesses, particularly in the Alburne Park area, are asked to keep all windows and doors closed.
“Members of the public should avoid the area.”
