Main Road in Cardenden to close for bird netting removal

PART of the Main Road in Cardenden will be closed for four nights to allow for bird netting to be removed.

Work will be taking place next to the town's railway station with the section to be shut between Ian Rankin Court and School Lane.

It will be closed for four nights between 9pm and 6am, with the bird netting removal getting underway from Monday August 31.

A sizeable diversion will be in place via Station Road, the B981, A910, Torbain Road, C48, C2 and Main Road.

Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained.

A Fife Council notice said the closure was necessary "to allow bird netting removal works to be carried out in safety".
