THE weekly Blue Brazil Lottery draw took place on Friday at The New Woodside Hotel, Cowdenbeath, when the required numbers were 1, 4, 9, 10, 13 and 15.

The jackpot of £1,600 was not won, so this week’s  jackpot will rise to  £1,700.

Now, the next draw will take place at Wee Jimmies in Cowdenbeath, on Friday at noon.

Each month people who have a line with none of a week’s winning numbers are entered into a draw when the lucky winner will receive £100.

That way, everyone has a second chance to be a winner!

This week Anne McDowell, Donal Redican, Ross Cowie, Robert Davidson and Nicola Johnson (online) plus Vincenzo (Joe’s Food Bar), Dave Room, Jimmy Lonie (John Cameron) along with Billy Waton and Alex Haddow (Alex Haddow) secured a place in the hat for the August booby prize draw which will take place in early September.

The £100 July booby winner was Archie Shand  (John Cameron).
