A Fife charity has been named a finalist in the Scottish Impact Awards 2026.
BRAG Enterprises is in the running for the Community Impact Award in the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises category.
The Scottish Impact Awards are a joint venture by GenAnalytics, The Herald, and Newsquest Events who wanted to recognise organisations who are leading with 'purpose, value and vision'.
Brian Robertson-Fern, CEO of BRAG Enterprises, said: "We are super proud to be nominated and recognised for this new award.
"Our aim has always been to ignite hope and restore dignity in our community.
"We change futures daily by empowering people to thrive through our life-changing support and opportunity."
Founded in 1988 in the Benarty area, BRAG was established in response to the closure of local coal pits and the resulting economic challenges.
Since then, the charity has expanded to operate Community Enterprise Centres in Crosshill and Methil, as well as owning the Together Levenmouth Hub in Leven High Street.
Its Crosshill headquarters hosts a variety of weekly programmes, including BookBug sessions, a crochet club, and a community café.
Produce from the community garden is also distributed through the charity’s pantry every Thursday.
The Together Levenmouth Hub offers space for community events and activities, including arts workshops, drop-in sessions, and exhibitions.
BRAG Enterprises has been named a finalist in recognition of its long-standing commitment to social impact.
Mr Robertson-Fern said the nomination is a tribute to the charity’s efforts to "change futures daily."
Winners of the Scottish Impact Awards will be announced in Glasgow on October 1.
