A group of three nurseries has been sold after more than 20 years of ownership.
Peek-a-Boo Nursery Group, with locations in Kirkcaldy, Markinch and Leven, has been acquired by SADCO Nursery Group Ltd following a confidential sales process handled by Christie & Co.
The nurseries, which offer a combined total of 132 places, were established in 2005 by founder Lynne Kivistik, who has stepped down to begin her retirement.
Ms Kivistik said: "I started the business in 2005 after buying and converting a beautiful building dated 1915 into my first nursery.
"I am now retiring after establishing, over the years, a further two nurseries in Fife.
"I thank Callum Lancaster and Martin Daw for their invaluable support throughout the process, and I wish Amir and Saqib all the best in Peek – a Boo’s new chapter."
The group is in partnership with Fife Council and provides 1,140 hours of government-funded childcare for children aged three to five.
The new owners, brothers Saqib and Amir Sadiq, now own seven settings across Fife and Glasgow.
They say their approach focuses on investing in high-quality learning environments and supporting local communities.

The sale was managed by Callum Lancaster, senior business agent for childcare and education at Christie & Co.

The sale price has not been disclosed.
