A student radio station has returned to the Edinburgh Fringe for a second year.
Boom Radio, run by media production students from Fife College, has once again secured official press accreditation to cover the world-renowned arts festival.
Fife College say their students are gaining hands-on experience by interviewing performers and reviewing shows throughout August.
Jay D Carr, a student from Lochgelly, said: "During my time at the Fringe, I was truly taken aback by the diversity and talent of the performers I was inundated with.
"Never had I seen a greater gathering of passion and creativity from all corners of the world.
"The opportunity to converse with so many interesting characters has been a highlight of my time studying with Fife College."
More than 20 students from the college’s Glenrothes campus are taking part, building on the success of last year’s debut.
They have already interviewed comedian Craig Hill, Home Alone actor Jim Ortlieb, and Saturday Night Live UK writer Omar Badawy, among others.
Their coverage has also explored shows about ninjas, pirates, the Titan submersible, and a professional Brazilian footballer.
Scott Hastie, creative media productions lecturer at Fife College, said: "I'm so proud of our student cohort for their efforts so far this year.
"We've seen a huge uptick in students keen to take part since our first outing last year, and we have turned out really professional content which has drawn compliments from the PRs we have been organising opportunities with.
"We did a tremendous job in our debut year at the Fringe in 2025, but this year we have blown that out of the water in terms of the quality and quantity of content.
"Even through this event alone, I've seen some of our students' confidence grow in abundance from the start of their time at the festival to the end.
"It's this kind of experience, on their doorstep, they can only get here on our media courses at Fife College."
