A man has died after falling from a building on St Andrew Square in Edinburgh.
Police and ambulance were on the scene in the busy square at 11.30am on Wednesday.
The response was concentrated around the Harvey Nichols department store, with bus services diverted away from the area.
Eyewitnesses described a forensic tent being set up in the area.
The police later confirmed a man had fallen from height, and was pronounced dead a short time later.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.35am on Wednesday August 19, we were called to a report that a man had fallen from height at a building in the St Andrew Square area of Edinburgh.
“Emergency services attended however the man was pronounced dead a short time later.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
