THE annual Cardenden Village Fair is back this week and promises family fun for all.
On Sunday, August 23, from 11.30am-4pm, locals will be invited to go along to Wallgreen Park for a day of excitement.
To entertain visitors, Bowhill Karate Club, Kirkcaldy & District Pipe Band, Danielle Law School of Dance and Music, Aviation Eclipse, and the Kirkcaldy Air Cadets will all put on performances.
There will be races, face painting, airbrush tattoos, circus performers, pony riding and bouncy castles for kids to enjoy, and the chosen theme this year is creativity.
For the adults, there will be many craft stalls to browse through, and local cause groups raising funds.
Hospitality for the entertainment will be provided by Rosemary Wallace and the 4th Fife Scouts, who will also help with set-up and clean-up.
During the event, there will also be the announcement of the Local Hero Award, which will recognise one deserving person.
The Cardenden Village Fair Committee also want to thank Ventient, Foundation Scotland, Ore Valley and Fife Council for support and funding for the event.
