A MAN has been charged with attempted murder following an alleged stabbing in Cardenden.

Keiran Heggie, 24, whose address was given as Fife, appeared in court on Monday (yesterday).

He was charged with assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement, danger to life and attempted murder.

Police were called on Friday, July 10, to an incident on Carden Avenue in which a man had been assaulted. He was later hospitalised.

At his court appearance, Heggie made no plea and has been remanded in custody to appear in court again within eight days.
