Self-service kiosks could make your next library visit a little bit smoother.
The kiosks have been introduced at Jennie Lee Library in Lochgelly, as well as three other libraries, to streamline borrowing and returns.
Pamela Paton, Operations Manager (Libraries) at OnFife, said: "These new self-service kiosks make borrowing and returning books quicker and easier, while our staff are right there to help anyone who needs it.
"We want people to feel confident giving them a try, and with early users having the chance to win a prize in each library, there’s an added bit of fun too."
To mark the rollout, the first 100 users at the library will be entered into a prize draw to win a bumper OnFife goodie bag.
At Jennie Lee Library, the kiosks also enable borrowing outside of regular library hours while the Lochgelly Centre remains open.
OnFife say staff will remain on hand to assist visitors as they adjust to using the new technology.
