CHILDREN from Noah's Ark Nursery in Lochgelly recently celebrated their graduation day ahead of going to big school.

On Friday, the little leavers had a special day with their families, and staff held individual 'ceremonies' to mark each child's time at the nursery.

To prepare them for primary school after the summer, each leaver was given the gift of a pencil case and stationery.

The graduates also received leavers hoodies, personalised with their names, the year they graduated and the Noah’s Ark logo.

For one last boogie together before they head off to different primary schools, the children will get together for a graduation party next Saturday, organised by one of the parents.

Nursery manager Carlin Robertson said: "It was all to celebrate the children who are leaving for school in August.

"We wish them the very best on their new adventure; it's been lovely having them. They're amazing. We'll miss them all."
