Management of a vandalised Cowdenbeath café have said that dangerous behaviour on the town’s streets is “out of control”.
Several windows at Toys Sweets & Sumin 2 Eat were smashed over the weekend.
A statement from the business said: “We are a small business and apart from being upsetting, it also costs us financially.
“The reckless and frankly dangerous behaviour on our streets is out of control. When will something be done?”
It explained that those behind the venture believe the destructive acts were carried out some time between Saturday evening and Monday morning.
Recent months have seen similar damage to residential properties and buses passing through the area.
Windows were put through at Cowdenbeath Baptist Church little more than a week ago, in an incident that was called “soul destroying” by members who are “losing count” of the times it has happened.
Back in January, a newly revamped £150,000 playpark was torched before it could even be officially opened.
Police Scotland were contacted about the latest incident.
It previously said that high-visibility patrols are being carried out in the area as a deterrent to anti-social behaviour, but the town’s community council stated that residents feel “there are no repercussions”.
