Youth charged after theft of mobility scooter in Cowdenbeath

A male youth has been charged in connection with the theft of a mobility scooter in Cowdenbeath.

The incident was reported to police yesterday (Thursday, June 18) from the town’s Bridge Street.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.45am on Thursday, June 18, 2026, we received a report of the theft of a mobility scooter on Bridge Street, Cowdenbeath.

“A male youth has been charged in connection and will be reported to the relevant authority.”
