A MAN has been arrested after causing a "disturbance" in Cowdenbeath.

Police officers were called to Broad Street around 9.40pm on Tuesday (yesterday) after a 39-year-old man was reported for causing disruption in the area.

He was later arrested, and a report will now be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.40pm on Tuesday, June 16, we were called to a report of a man causing a disturbance on Broad Street, Cowdenbeath.

"Officers attended and a 39-year-old man was arrested in connection.

"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
