AN off-road bike has been seized, and a youth has been charged with "several road traffic offences" in Lochgelly.
Officers charged a 15-year-old youth and confiscated a Sur-Ron electric motorbike following an incident on Station Road on Tuesday, June 9, when the bike was found to have been used unlawfully.
Police Scotland said: "Off-road bikes must not be used on public roads unless they are fully road legal, insured, and the rider holds an appropriate licence.
"They are also illegal to use off-road if ridden in an antisocial manner or without the landowner’s permission.
"Such behaviour can cause significant risk, damage, and distress within our communities. We will continue to take action against those using vehicles illegally in our communities.
"If you have concerns about similar behaviour in your area, please report this to Police Scotland by calling 101, or 999 in an emergency."
