EMERGENCY services rushed to a wildfire at a central Fife nature reserve.
The incident happened at Dalbeath March near Cowdenbeath just before 9pm last night, when a small area of grass caught alight.
One fire engine was dispatched to the scene, and crews worked to extinguish the blaze.
There were no reported casualties, and the crews were stood down at 9.38pm.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 8.50pm on Monday, June 8, to reports of a fire in the open at Dalbeath March near Cowdenbeath.
“Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the area, and crews worked to extinguish a fire affecting a small area of grass.
“There were no casualties, and the crew left at 9.38pm after ensuring it was safe.”
