A motorcyclist was spotted speeding through Cowdenbeath at 70mph.
The offender was 25-year-old Nathan Howie, of Inchcolm Road, Dunfermline.
He appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court and admitted that on July 24 last year at Broad Street, Cowdenbeath, he drove a motorcycle dangerously.
He accelerated harshly and drove at excessive speed in a built-up area and drove without insurance.
Depute fiscal Lauren Pennycook said at 3.45pm an unmarked police car saw Howie speeding through Cowdenbeath.
The officers started following him and were travelling at 70mph to keep up. He then pulled into a petrol station and police arrested him.
Sheriff Krista Johnston called for reports and imposed a temporary driving ban until sentencing on June 24.
