A school football tournament returns this month in honour of a community stalwart.
The fifth Willie Duncan Football Trophy will be held on Monday, May 25 at the John Thomson football facility in Cardenden’s Wallsgreen Park.
The tournament is dedicated to Mr Duncan, a long-serving member of Cardenden Community Council and a leading figure in the organisation of the Bowhill Village Fair.
Teams from Cardenden, Denend, St Ninian's, and Kinglassie primary schools will compete in the event.
Alex Burns, organiser, said: "Willie was an amazing man who loved helping people and was always willing to be involved in organising events.
"He would have loved to have seen so many young people have fun playing in a competition in his name."
The tournament will kick-off at 9.30am on Monday, May 25.
