A woman was taken to hospital following a crash on a road near Cowdenbeath this morning.

Emergency services were called to the one-vehicle incident on the A92 near Cowdenbeath at around 7.30am on Thursday, May 14.

The woman was taken to hospital as a precaution and recovery of the vehicle was arranged.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.30am on Thursday, May 14, police received a report of a one-vehicle crash on the A92 near Cowdenbeath. One woman was taken to hospital as a precaution and recovery was arranged.”

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 07:32am to attend an incident on the A92 at Cowdenbeath. An ambulance was dispatched and one patient was transported to the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.”
