The iconic music of Queen is coming to town this month as the Lochgelly and District Amateur Musical Association (LADAMA) prepares to stage 'We Will Rock You' - and you could be in with a chance of winning tickets!
Set in a futuristic world where live music is banned and individuality is suppressed, the show follows a group of rebels as they challenge the system and rediscover the power of rock music.
Key characters include Galileo, Scaramouche, the villainous Killer Queen, her henchman Khashoggi, and the hippy Pop, supported by an ensemble of Bohemians.

The show features some legendary tracks, including Bohemian Rhapsody, Somebody to Love, Another One Bites the Dust and will run from May 27-30, at 7.30pm with a 2.30pm matinee on the final day.
Bringing the characters to life is LADAMA, a theatre group that puts on annual musicals in the Lochgelly Centre. They've been waiting for the opportunity to perform We Will Rock You, but had to wait years before the rights became available.
One of the group's committee members, Brian Faichney, said: “We’ve contacted the rights holders several times, and we were always told, there’s no planned date. We got that same statement last year, and then within a matter of weeks, the rights became available.
"It's exciting because it's the music of Queen. Even if you weren't alive back in their heyday, it's such fundamental music that even young people today are aware of. Sometimes you go to a show and don't know any of the songs, but with this one, it's all well-known."

On what performing brings to the participants, Brian said it's mainly "an immense degree of satisfaction".
He said: "There’s a tremendous amount of talented people in Fife, people that do normal day jobs but could do theatre. It gives many an opportunity to do something that they wanted to do earlier in life.
"And it’s an amazing feeling when you’re standing in the wings, waiting to go on, and when you get the response from the crowd, it’s fantastic."
He added that the cast has been working extremely hard and that audiences are in for a special treat, as they tackle the legendary songs, widely considered vocally challenging.
“I think it’s quite a challenging show to sing, there are some really high notes and being rock music, that can be quite a challenge. I’ve heard some of the cast say they’re amazed when they hear the principals.
"The songs in the show are ones you can usually sing along to, but not in the theatre! You'll have to sing along in your head," Brian laughed.
The cast is as follows:
Galileo - Tony Livingston
Scaramouche - Ann-Marie Miller
Killer Queen - Emily Jane Lister
Khashoggi - Graeme Melvin
Brit - Andy Duncan
Oz - Laura Campbell
Buddy - Murray Pope
