A temporary road closure and parking restrictions will be in place in Lochgelly later this month to allow essential works to be carried out.

Fife Council has announced that Main Street will be closed between the junction with High Street and property number 146.

In addition, a no waiting and no loading restriction will be enforced on both sides of the road from the junction with High Street to property number 136.

The restrictions will be in force from 9am on Thursday, April 23 until 6am on Saturday, April 25, or until the works are completed.

The measures are being introduced to allow Scottish Water works to be carried out safely.
