Efforts to address a power cut in Lochgelly are currently underway.

It was reported at 9.38am and is impacting postcodes KY5 8XX, KY5 8NH, KY5 8NL, and KY58LR.

A statement from SP Energy Networks reads: “We apologise for the recurring power interruption in the KY5 postcode area of Lochgelly. Our emergency response team are on site to investigate, and we aim to have power restored by 1.53pm.

“We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.”
