A teenager has been taken to hospital after a scooter crash in Lochgelly.

On Saturday, March 21, Police responded to calls of a crash involving a scooter on McGregor Avenue.

The incident led to a 15-year-old boy being hospitalised for treatment.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.45pm on Saturday, 21 March, 2026, we were called to a report of a crash involving a scooter on McGregor Avenue, Lochgelly.

"A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital for treatment."

Scottish Ambulance Services have been contacted for comment.
