Library staff are heading out into the community to hear directly from residents as part of a new engagement pilot.
OnFife Libraries are piloting Library Connections, an initiative designed to strengthen relationships with the communities they serve in Lochore and Bowhill.
The scheme aims to better understand local needs, identify barriers to library use, encourage membership of libraries by having conversations around the range of services available and explore opportunities for improved access.
Samantha MacDougall, community wellbeing manager, said: "Our team are looking forward to chatting with people about the many and varied activities and services on offer in their local OnFife library."
As part of the pilot, OnFife Libraries will host informal public information sessions at community venues throughout Fife.
The first session will take place at Lochore Meadows, Willie Clarke Visitor Centre, on Wednesday March 18 between 10am-2pm.
The second session will be in the Bowhill Community Centre in Cardenden, on Friday 10 April between 2pm-4.30pm.
These outreach events will give residents the chance to share their views.
Visitors will be able to borrow a limited selection of books on the day, and library-themed giveaways will also be available.
