Young carers from across Fife have been given a well-earned break from their daily responsibilities.
More than 30 young carers aged 11 to 18 enjoyed a day of fun and relaxation at Cluny Activities, near Kinglassie, thanks to a collaborative event designed to celebrate and support their ongoing dedication.
The day was organised by Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) in collaboration with Fife Young Carers.
Reilly Dufresne, Respite Care Coordinator at FVA, said: "It was a pleasure to work with Fife Young Carers and Cluny Activities.

"We’re committed to ensuring young carers have access to respite through our Respitality programme."
The event was filled with engaging activities, including air rifles, archery, mini golf, and the driving range.
A buffet lunch was provided, along with raffles, prizes and a retro-style photo booth.

Feedback from the young carers was overwhelmingly positive, with 100 per cent of them wanting to attend another event in future.
When asked about their favourite part of the day, the answer was 'the activities' and 'making friends'.
Rebecca Mellon, Service Manager at Fife Young Carers, said: "The day out to Cluny Activities was fantastic.
"All young carers attending were able to socialise and meet like-minded peers, allowing them to feel less isolated and have fun enjoying a range of different activities that they otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to take part in.

"We’re very grateful to Fife Voluntary Action for kindly organising this event and recognising the importance of accessing respite has on young carers."
Catherine Shedden, General Manager at Cluny Activities, said: "Unpaid carers give so much every day, and we noticed many were already finding a little escape here at our golf centre.
"With the help of Respitality, we’re proud to now offer free use of our activities during set times, as a small thank you for all that unpaid carers do."
