Cardenden Primary School's Gymnastics Club triumphed again, taking home the team gold at the Fife Schools Gymnastics Competition for the sixth year running.
The level one team, made up of Antek Szmuc, Harris Buckingham, Paul Rowley, and Lexi Connelly, shone in the competition held on February 25.
Antek Szmuc snatched gold in both the vault and the overall combined score categories.
His teammate Hope Szary also put on a noteworthy show, going home with a silver on the vault and a bronze for overall performance.
Competing at Level Three, Harri McGregor clinched joint gold on the floor, and ended up with a silver in the overall standings.
Level two competitor, Layla Keenan, also made her mark, bagging a gold on the floor and a bronze overall.
In a competition with over 200 gymnasts from across Fife, Cardenden's young athletes certainly stood out.
Principal teacher Melinda Fleming, who also coaches the team, expressed her pride in their achievements, saying that the students worked extremely hard to achieve this success and she couldn’t be any more proud.
