Looking for a new challenge for 2025 - The Meedies Running Club are planning to host a new programme.

Starting on Monday, January 26, the club have announced their brand new 'C2-5K' running programme for members.

Planned to run for a total of nine weeks, representatives of the club have stated that they are planning to run up to three sessions of C2-5K per week.

The sessions will be Scottish Athletic Coach-Led, with the final finishers' 5k taking place on completion.

The club organisers all participants will receive medals and certificates upon completion.

A spokesperson also said that along with the C2-5K event, the club will be looking to provide encouragement and mentoring for all who take part.

The programme costs a one-off fee of £15.

Prospective runners can take part in an optional introductory 'Meet & Greet' session, scheduled for Wednesday, January 21, at 5.45pm.

This event will take place at the Boathouse within Lochore Meadows.
