The villages of Cardenden, Bowhill and Dundonald were treated to some Christmas magic on Saturday as the annual Santa Train returned.
Made from an old caravan and by some community handymen, the train made its 4-hour journey through the streets, with crowds of families lined up to wave.
Over nine festive characters toured the villages, including the Grinch, Santa, Mrs Claus and Mickey Mouse.
Organiser Linda Beveridge said: "It was the best display we’ve ever had, we had more people come along and help out.
"It's getting bigger and bigger every year. We gave out 847 selection boxes!"
As well as touring the villages, the train made its way to the Fernlea Carehome, before spending time with residents and distributing to them a Christmas selection box.
Linda continued: "We’d like to thank small businesses and the community.
"We wouldn't have been able to do it without the volunteers or Rosmary Liewald. Thank everyone to everyone."
