TALENTED footballers from Crossgates Primary netted the silverware and title of Fife champions at a recent competition.
The youngsters - from primaries six and seven – won the Fife football finals in Glenrothes after coming through a tough group stage and winning their final game 3-0 to claim victory.
Teacher Nicola Drummond was delighted with the children's achievement.
"They have done above and beyond what we were expecting and the kids just believed in themselves," she said. "It has been great for them.

"The whole competitiveness and sportsmanship, the resilience and team work they have shown throughout. We are really proud of them and all of their achievements.
"We were one of the smallest schools and it is the first time it has been won by a Beath cluster school. The kids are all absolutely delighted. They came back to school and went into all the classes celebrating."
