Meedies Running Club announces Couch to 5K programme

Meedies Running Club is launching a new edition of their programme to help locals get fit.

The NHS-approved 'Couch to 5K' programme will kick off on March 3, following an introductory meeting on February 26 at 5.45pm in the Boathouse at Lochore Meadows Country Park.

The programme has been tailored for people of all fitness levels, and will run for nine weeks, with sessions held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6.15pm.

The club has stated that all you need to bring is "your dedication and motivation" to attend the sessions.

The course will offer support from qualified jog leaders, with guidance and advice provided throughout.

However, those unable to attend the meeting will still be able to register on the first night.
