Cowdenbeath Rotary Club has discussed plans to get primary school children to walk for good causes.
At Thursday's meeting, the club discussed plans to get youngsters walking in their playground to raise money for school projects and local charities.
Club vice-president, Craig Bennet, said: "It is hoped that we can invite the primary schools, in the Cowdenbeath-Lochgelly area to join us in a project which would see them walk a mile in their playground and raise money for a project particular to their school and at the same time support local projects sponsored by the rotary club.
"We plan to get in touch with our local schools and see if we can get them involved which would be something which can benefit good causes in the locality.”
