The long-delayed sentencing of a Ballingry man has been put back again.
Krai Harry Sweeney, 33, of Kildownie Crescent, returned to the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He previously admitted that at his home on 10th and 11th July last year, he shouted, swore, made offensive and derogatory comments, repeatedly smashed a shovel against a gate, made threats to harm police officers, held a knife to his own throat and threatened to self-harm.
He also admitted that on 11th July at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy and when being conveyed to Dunfermline police station, he threatened violence to police officers and their families, attempted to strike his head inside a police vehicle and attempted to spit at officers.
There has been a delay in sentencing caused by the lack of a psychiatric report, which was ordered by a sheriff in July last year.
The report has now been submitted but there was another delay when Sheriff Susan Duff was about to proceed to sentencing.
Defence solicitor Aime Allan said her client was prepared to do unpaid work but that was disputed from the dock by Sweeney.
The solicitor then said his position was that he was medically unfit for unpaid work.
Sentencing was deferred once again until 11th September for a medical report.
