He admitted a string of offences.

On 10th July last year at McGinlay Terrace, he shouted, swore and brandished knives during a dispute with a neighbour.

On 7th October at Park Street, Crosshill, he entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a house door key, Apple Airpod Pros and Nintendo Switch games.

He repeated this offence the next day in Acorn Road.

On 24th February at Keir Street, Cowdenbeath, he was found within the curtilage of the property with intention to commit theft.

Defence solicitor Aime Allan said: “He is a man with a difficulty with substance misuse and he had fallen off the wagon.”

He had been on remand since 22nd July.

She added: “He says his time in custody has allowed him to get his head back on straight.”

Snaddon was given more time to straighten himself out as Sheriff Susan Duff jailed him for 13-and-a-half months
