A Lochgelly woman who assaulted two police officers has been ordered to do unpaid work.
Stacy Bett, 36, of Moffat Crescent, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She admitted that on 13th August last year at Cooper Ha’ Avenue, Lochgelly, she assaulted a female police constable by repeatedly kicking her on the body to her injury.
She also assaulted a second officer by attempting to punch her on the head.
Defence solicitor Jaclyn Robertson said: “She’s genuinely ashamed and very embarrassed of her behaviour.”
Sheriff Susan Duff imposed a community payback order with 150 hours of unpaid work.
