The concert will take place at Lochgelly Centre.
COWDENBEATH Rotary Club have had a boost as preparations continue for their community concert in May.
Thursday’s meeting was told by organiser of the concert, Tom Russell, that their list of performers would now include the Blackwatch Cadets Pipe Band.
Tom said: “We have been very fortunate to have received this offer from the Blackwatch Cadets Pipe Band to take part in the concert, which is part of the activities closing our centenary year.
“Their contribution will add to what is going to be a gala occasion, at Lochgelly Centre, on the evening of Friday, May 17.”
Tickets for the community concert, which will feature a host of local artistes, can be obtained at Lochgelly Centre Box Office.
