FIFE COUNCIL has put a whole programme in place to provide free activities to kids over the Easter Holidays.
The local authority has organised a host of activities, for kids of all ages, across the Kingdom, completely free of charge.
Councillor Linda Erskine, spokesperson for Communities and Leisure, said: “Sport and physical activity are so important for our children and young people and being active in a social setting can be beneficial for their physical and emotional well-being.
“As a Council, we recognise that the cost-of-living crisis continues and right now, many families can’t afford any kinds of activities for their children.
“The ongoing crisis is affecting everyone in some way, and for those who were previously just getting by it continues to be a major issue. We don’t want any of our children to miss out just because of a lack of funds.
"We invest in these programmes because we know in the long run they can benefit the wider society, as our children grow up happier and healthier. I’m looking forward to my grandchildren taking part.”
