PUPILS from a Cowdenbeath primary school have questioned their local MSP in Scottish Parliament.

The Foulford Primary School class visited Holyrood on Tuesday, March 19, and were able to put questions to one of their representatives, Alex Rowley, MSP for Mid Scotland and Fife.

Mr Rowley said: “It was a pleasure to meet the pupils from Foulford Primary and to answer the many great questions from them. They are a testament to their school and their teachers."

The school visit saw the pupils being shown around the Holyrood building in order to learn more about how the Scottish Parliament works, before being given the opportunity to hear from, and put questions directly to, their MSP.

Mr Rowley continued: “It is always a delight to meet with school groups on visits to Parliament and I hope the children enjoyed their day learning more about the Scottish Parliament and how it works.

"They were an excellent class and I wish them all success in their future education.”
