A NEW PLAY area is set to be officially opened in Crossgates this weekend.
The facility has been created after work from the Crossgates Play Area Association to raise the necessary £175K required to make the project a reality.
Local residents – young and old – are invited to the launch event at 11am on Saturday where ice creams will be available for children along with teas and coffee for adults.
