A Cowdenbeath man, who was caught driving after taking cannabis, has been banned from the roads.
Kalin Bryson, 25, of Union Street, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on February 10 last year in Broad Street, Cowdenbeath, he drove a car when over the limit for cannabis.
His reading was 2.9 microgrammes of THC per litre of blood, the limit being 2 microgrammes.
Depute fiscal Catherine Stevenson said police had been called out to a road accident involving Bryson at around 1.20pm. A saliva test for drugs was positive and Bryson was arrested.
Sheriff Garry Sutherland banned Bryson from driving for a year and fined him £320.
