A Hill of Beath couple celebrated their Diamond Wedding anniversary last Thursday.
Brian and Isobel Scott of Allan Park met at Dobbie Hall in Larbert in August of 1962 before getting married the following year on December 28, when Isobel was 20 and Brian was 21.
Now, 60 years later the couple have celebrated six decades together at the Dalhousie Castle in Bonnyrigg as a gift from their three sons and their wives.
They plan to celebrate further with friends and family on Saturday, January 6.
Sharing the secret to their long and happy marriage, the couple said: "Accept each other's ways and faults, say I love you often and laugh a lot together."
