THROUGH the efforts of Cowdenbeath Rotary Club, 40 people, covering all age groups, enjoyed a special Christmas evening on Thursday.
The club members were joined at Wee Jimmies in Cowdenbeath by over 20 guests, who enjoyed a festive meal, and entertainment by popular Fife singer Linton Osborne.

There was also a special visit from Santa, who presented a gift to every guest, and was very much the centre of attention.
Club president, John Gilfillan, said: βIt was excellent to have so many age groups covered by this festive friends event, and the number of gifts donated was amazing, and I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the event.β
