Edward Taylor, a prisoner at Perth, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He admitted that on August 13 at Cooper Ha Avenue, Lochgelly, he drove a car when disqualified and without insurance.

In that street, he also assaulted a man by repeatedly attempting to punch him.

He further admitted he assaulted another man by punching him on the head and striking on the body and head with a screwdriver, to his injury.

Sheriff Charles Lugton jailed Taylor for 12 months and banned him from driving for 20 months.
