A drug driver was caught speeding near Cowdenbeath during the morning rush period when more than 12 times over the limit for cocaine.
Liam Bremner, 31, of Rosevale Place, Edinburgh, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on May 6 on the A92 between Lochgelly and Cowdenbeath he drove dangerously at excessive speeds of up to 80mph.
His reading was 616 microgrammes of benzoylecgonine per litre of blood, the limit being 50 microgrammes.
Depute fiscal Amy Robertson said that at 8.55am Bremner was spotted driving his grey Mercedes C220 on to the A92 at Kirkcaldy by police on patrol.
They followed him and he was seen driving at 80mph. They activated their blue lights and when Bremner stopped the officers could smell cannabis from inside the car.
A drugs test proved positive for cannabis and cocaine.
Sheriff Garry Sutherland banned Bremner from driving for 18 months and imposed a two-month restriction of liberty order.
