A Cowdenbeath man has been jailed for struggling with police.
Darren McPhee, 32, of Sinclair Drive, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court by video link from prison.
He admitted that on April 27 at his home he resisted two police officers by struggling with them and attempted to stop them putting handcuffs on him.
Depute fiscal Amy Robertson said there had been a dispute about McPhee having picked up his son and the police were contacted. They tracked him down in his car outside his home with the child still in the vehicle.
McPhee became aggressive towards officers and began struggling with them as they tried to put handcuffs on him.
Defence solicitor Aime Allan said: "He was just getting his son out of the car when the police turned up.”
McPhee is currently in custody for other matters. Sheriff Garry Sutherland jailed him for 30 days.
