A TEENAGER has died after taking unwell at a Ballingry home yesterday (Sunday).
Police were called to the Kirkland Avenue property on Sunday, October 29, at around 11:55am after reports of a 16-year-old boy having taken unwell.
The youth was taken to Victoria Hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead a short time later.
A police spokesperson confirmed that one person had died.
They said: "We were made aware around 11:55am on Sunday, 29 October of a 16-year-old male youth having taken unwell at a property on Kirkland Avenue in Ballingry.
“He was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment but was pronounced dead a short time later.
“His death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
A Scottish Ambulance spokesperson confirmed that four people were taken to hospital.
They said: "We received a call at 1150 hours on Sunday to attend an address in Ballingry.
"We dispatched several resources to the scene and transported four patients to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.”
