A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal road crash in Cowdenbeath.
A 46-year-old male pedestrian died following the crash involving a grey Audi on High Street around 8.30pm on Thursday (September 14).
The man was crossing the road when he was struck by the car which did not stop and drove off.
Emergency services attended but the 46 year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was closed for several hours as collision investigators conducted enquiries at the location.
The 32-year-old man is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court tomorrow (Monday, September 18).
