RETIRED schooteacher Dorothy McRae has marked her 102nd birthday with celebrations at her care home.
A party was held for Dorothy at Craigie House in Crossgates where she lives.
Born in Errol, Perthshire, Dorothy left school at 18 and went to St Andrew's University where she studied to be a teacher.
She went onto work in primary schools in Aberdour, Inverkeithing and Dunfermline.
She met her husband-to-be William (Bill), in 1939 and the couple married ten years later in 1949.
They went onto have twin boys, Kenneth and Gordon, and she retired at the age of 60.
At Craigie House the now 102-year-old is known as "Queen Dorothy".
