A BODY has been found amid a search for a man missing from Lochgelly.
Police Scotland have issued a statement confirming that the body of a man was found in woodlands north of Lochgelly at around 1.55pm yesterday (Monday).
A spokesperson added: "Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of Darren Macduff, reported missing from the Lochgelly area, has been informed.
"There are no apparent suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
An appeal to help trace Mr Macduff, 56, was issued by police on Monday morning after he had not been seen since Sunday afternoon.
