CLASSIC cars and enthusiasts made hit the road on Sunday as Lochore Meadows hosted the annual Scottish Ford Day show.

Run by the Pre 67 Ford Owners Club, which started in Dunfermline in 1981, the event itself has been drawing audiences for 42 years.

This year's collection of vehicles impressed once again as owners got to show off their rides and visitors got to take a trip down memory lane with nostalgic makes and models on display.

Speaking after the event, organisers said: "A massive thank you everyone who attended Scottish Ford Day at Lochore Meadows today.

"The standard of cars was amazing and ranged from Model T's right through to Ford Mustangs.

"We really appreciate your support as we try to build the show up again and we could not do it without the entrants, sponsors and the public.

"A massive thanks also to park manager Ian Laing for his support.

"Last year we listened to your comments and brought back the autojumbles and music.

"We will be back next year and hope to have a date soon, thank you all once again!"
