ONE person was taken to hospital after a two-car crash in Kelty.

Emergency services rushed to Oakfield Street at around 11.25am on Thursday where one vehicle was on its roof.

Two ambulances were dispatched and paramedics treated persons at the scene for minor injuries before transporting one to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.

A Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) spokesperson said: "We received a call at 11.21 to attend a road traffic collision on Oakfield Street, Kelty.

"Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy."

A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed there were two cars involved in the crash.

They said: "Around 11.25am on Thursday, 8 June 2023, police received a report of a two car crash on Oakfield Street, Kelty.

"Emergency services attended and SAS were treating persons at the scene for minor injuries.

"Enquiries are ongoing."

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 11.23am on Thursday, 8 June to reports of a road traffic accident on Oakfield Street in Kelty.

"Operations Control mobilised one appliance and on arrival found two cars involved with one car on its roof.

"Scottish Ambulance Service and Police Scotland were also in attendance."
